Wheel Alignments
When your wheels are out of alignment your tyres will wear
quickly and unevenly and your fuel consumption will increase.
To get the best life from your tyres you should have your
alignment checked:
- When fitting new tyres
- Every 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, (whichever comes
first)
- After accident repairs or replacement of any steering
or suspension parts
There are some warning signs that you need to have an alignment:
- Irregular tyre wear on the front or rear tyres
- Heavy steering
- Vehicle wandering or hard to keep in a straight line
- Excessive road shock felt through the steering wheel
- Vehicle steering wheel not returning to the centre after
cornering
